Gentle Posing Techniques

When it comes to newborn photography, posing is key. At Billie Roche Photography, I focus on creating soft, organic poses — never forcing your baby into uncomfortable positions. Most of the time, I will allow the baby to naturally curl up, just as they were in the womb, using safe props like wraps and blankets to support them.

Never Rush a Newborn Session

Newborn sessions are never rushed. On average, they last about 2-3 hours, allowing plenty of time for:
