She is truly one of the cutest newborns I've ever had the honor of photographing. From her tiny features to her peaceful expressions, every moment of her session reminded me why I love preserving these once-in-a-lifetime memories for families.
What made this session even more meaningful was seeing a familiar face walk through my studio doors.
Years ago, I had the privilege of photographing Eleanor's big sister as a newborn. It was nice seeing my clients back in the studio. Watching families grow is one of the greatest gifts of being a newborn photographer. There is something incredibly special about being invited back to document another chapter of a family's story.
Their return wasn't just another booking—it was a reminder of the trust my clients place in me during one of the most precious seasons of their lives.
To make the experience even more humbling, Eleanor's family traveled over an hour to my studio for their newborn session. If you're expecting, the best time to reserve your newborn session is during pregnancy. Newborn portraits are ideally captured within the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are sleepiest and naturally curl into those beautiful poses parents love.
